AddressWe are looking for a creative, fashion driven and experienced womenswear designer for our internationally recognised Melbourne based client.
Reporting to the Head Designer, you will be responsible for:
- managing and developing seasonal ranges.
- developing silhouettes each season
- design direction from conception to final styling
- design across all womenswear categories - woven and knitwear
- researching trend, identifying seasonal trends
- sourcing and development of fabrics, embroidery, trims
- attending fit sessions
- international travel as required
- will have a strong womenswear design background, with technical knowledge of wovens and knitwear
- will have a strong colour and print sense, with a strong knowledge of seasonal trends and market responses.
- will have Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
