You'll be at the forefront of crafting innovative content for our Master of Education course, providing guidance and resources to our staff. Collaborate with experts, harness emerging technologies, and create engaging materials for both in-person and online learning.Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in consulting services with teaching and support staff to develop strategically and pedagogically driven, evidence-based practice assessments and activities.
- Assisting in the innovative creation of subject or course designs, by applying research-informed practices, and developing resources to enhance the efficiency of learning design and development processes.
- Designing, delivering, and maintaining support materials, frameworks, exemplars, workshops, and professional development activities to help staff implement technology-enhanced learning (TEL) and improve flexible teaching capabilities.
- Collaborating and co-designing with teaching staff, learning specialists, and subject matter experts to develop and implement engaging, high-quality online and blended courses, ensuring excellent student learning experiences, content, activities, and assessments.
Leveraging your expertise in classroom instruction, curriculum design, and assessment of student learning outcomes, you work independently with minimal supervision, while collaborating with colleagues to innovate within your area of responsibility and maintain effective relationships. You have demonstrated experience in crafting and implementing professional development activities, facilitating learning, and effectively integrating digital technologies into the curriculum to enhance student engagement and learning.You also have:
- A postgraduate qualification (or ongoing pursuit of postgraduate qualifications alongside substantial relevant experience) in a related field such as educational design or within the broader scope of education.
- Demonstrated comprehension of pedagogies, learning theories, and design frameworks essential for optimising blended, hybrid, and online learning as well as curriculum delivery.
- Proficiency and proven track record in utilising digital technologies and related TEL platforms to craft materials for Learning Management Systems. Encompassing design considerations for diverse learner needs, and incorporating universal design principles, pertinent to Higher Education contexts.
- The ability to initiate, develop, and provide recommendations concerning learning design in curriculum development, delivery, and assessment. Applying these insights to create subject-specific, high-quality learning resources and experiences.
