Hudson is seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2-3 Desktop Support and Device Replacement Officer to contribute to the maintenance and support of a large and complex network environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and support ICT systems with expertise in operating systems, Microsoft 365, desktop and mobile hardware, conferencing room hardware and software, network fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN), antivirus, and scripting technologies.
- Participate in the statewide rollout of new ICT hardware, involving travel and occasional after-hours deployments.
- Provide expert advice, consultation, and negotiation with staff at all levels regarding the operations of Information Systems infrastructure and facilities.
- Foster a high-quality customer service culture by adhering to quality system documentation and continuously seeking improvement in work processes.
- Contribute to effective teamwork within the Technology Services Group by collaborating with team members and assisting in the delivery of services to the department.
- Engage in analytical and problem-solving activities for the maintenance and support of a large and complex Windows network environment.
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and supporting modern Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10 or 11), Microsoft 365 including Teams, desktop and mobile hardware, and conferencing room hardware and software.
- Proven analytical experience in identifying, investigating, and solving problems during ICT device roll-out activities in a large and complex environment.
- Ability to act proactively through self-direction and a willingness to explore new ways of working.
- Knowledge of ITIL and experience with modern ITSM platforms, such as Service Now.
- Relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience in desktop Support and Device Replacement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to travel and participate in after-hours deployments.
