About the Role:
In this exciting role, you'll provide technical support for many desktops and associated applications. You'll be the go-to person for resolving hardware and software problems, ensuring users have a positive experience and can work productively.
What you'll do:
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues
- Respond to user requests promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with users to understand their needs and keep them informed
- Continuously improve the efficiency and stability of the IT infrastructure
- Maintain and update a knowledge base for future reference
- Document all problems, resolutions, and updates
- Participate in disaster recovery testing
- Identify opportunities to optimize IT equipment usage
- IT degree or related qualification
- Proven experience in a multi-site IT environment
- Strong knowledge of Citrix, Microsoft, and Lotus Notes (or similar)
- Familiarity with ITIL practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- A strong customer-centric approach with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
