Desktop Support Technician

About the Role:
In this exciting role, you'll provide technical support for many desktops and associated applications. You'll be the go-to person for resolving hardware and software problems, ensuring users have a positive experience and can work productively.

What you'll do:

• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues
• Respond to user requests promptly and efficiently
• Collaborate with users to understand their needs and keep them informed
• Continuously improve the efficiency and stability of the IT infrastructure
• Maintain and update a knowledge base for future reference
• Document all problems, resolutions, and updates
• Participate in disaster recovery testing
• Identify opportunities to optimize IT equipment usage

What you'll bring:

• IT degree or related qualification
• Proven experience in a multi-site IT environment
• Strong knowledge of Citrix, Microsoft, and Lotus Notes (or similar)
• Familiarity with ITIL practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• A strong customer-centric approach with exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
