About the role
We are currently looking for a highly capable Despatch Glassworker to work on a six-month fixed-term contract at our manufacturing plant in Dandenong South. This position is a shift work position so applicants must be flexible with their working hours and days.
Key Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Assist with overhead gantry crane operation
- Forklift driving
- Unloading / Loading of trucks
- Loading glass packs into containers
- Loading glass packs onto frames for customer orders
- Stock movements around the warehouse
- Stock control duties
- Stocktaking of product
- Housekeeping to ensure that a high safety standard is maintained

Experience in the following areas is advantageous but not essential:
- Overhead gantry crane operation
- High risk forklift licence
- Previous experience in the glass industry
