About the Role
The Fixed Term until 31 January 2025, the Service Coordinator is part of a dynamic team within the Fire Equipment Service Department and is responsible for coordinating communications between clients, contractors and staff to ensure services are delivered in accordance with FES customer expectations and to assist the Service Manager to carry out key departmental functions.
The role also includes end to end customer service delivery to specific customer accounts as designated by the Service Manager. Other functions include the creation and issuing of quotations, service visits, and verification of FES service activities to specific customer needs whilst innovating and improving efficiencies within the service delivery process.
The Service Coordinator also responds to customer queries, complaints, requests and complex issues drawing on acquired knowledge and internal and external resources and supervises and mentors the Assistant Service Coordinators.
What you will need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in a business field or in the fire protection industry.
- Completion of an appropriate certificate in administration.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience of coordinating the delivery of services through a contractor labour base.
- An understanding and ability to demonstrate the application of Australian Standards and the Construction Code of Australia in the maintenance of Essential Safety Measures.
- Proven track record of prioritizing multiple tasks and developing creative solutions to complex issues.
