As part of an international tyre manufacturing and distribution organisation, Kumho Tyre Australia is a leading supplier of quality tyres to the Australian market with sales and distribution networks in all states.
We are currently seeking a Despatch Office Clerk to assist our warehouse operations.
The role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Despatch Office Clerk manages all the paperwork associated with the transportation of tyres into and out of the warehouse. A large part of the role is interfacing with our customers collecting tyres from the warehouse. This requires someone who loves customer interaction and gets huge satisfaction from making them feel a treasured part of our business!
The Responsibilities
- Raising paperwork for transport companies
- Processing stock receipts
- Invoicing goods for dispatch
- Liaising with transport companies
- Processing stock movements within our computer system.
- Working closely with our warehouse and sales teams to ensure quick efficient processing of orders and queries
- General administration duties
- Customer service, and occasional visits to customer dealerships
The Skills and Experience
- Experience in Excel & Word to intermediate standard
- Experience with SAP would be ideal
- Previous warehouse, wholesale or logistics experience
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- The ability to work unsupervised as part of our team
- Current Drivers Licence
- Customer service skills
- And of course – an energetic and happy outlook on work and life
