Brickworks NSW is seeking a highly organised Despatch, Pallet and Yard Coordinator to join our Austral Masonry facility in Oakdale Industrial Estate – Horsley Park, NSW.
Reporting to the Yard & Transport Manager, the role is position is responsible for the day-to-day execution and co-ordination of our yard, Pallet and despatch/ receival operations within NSW and ensure all relevant policy’s procedures are followed within the network.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Gatehouse duties - of inward / outward goods and customer pickups.
• Accurate co-ordination of load information, dockets, deliveries (pick-ups/ returns/ deliveries) and updating stocks and orders within JDE.
• Coordinate deliveries to meet customers’ needs and requirement.
• Confirm, produce and upload delivery dockets to our Transport Management System.
• Liaise with company and contractor drivers on multiple range of operation issues, also communicate with key stakeholders when issues arise on site to resolve the issue.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, compliant with WHSE policies and procedures.
• Assist with customer service duties, including supporting the sales team as required.
• Support the coordination of Pallet Collections and Interstate Transfer Stock movements.
• Maintain required administration.
• Maintain the documentation associated with the Brickworks WH&S System.
Success Requirements
• Previous experience in warehousing, transportation, or other related industry.
• Knowledge of pallet management systems and processes is desired.
• Strong time management, administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience using an ERP such as JDE or SAP desired.
• Computer literate (Word and Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks with varying levels of priority.
• A willingness to be a team player and support various areas of the business when required.
