We offer a unique opportunity for job share employment on a permanent basis for the right candidate.
The position offered is a Despatch & Weighbridge Officer. This is a job share with part time hours of 9.00am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday. This includes a 30 minute unpaid meal break. Additional hours could be offered so availability for early morning starts to cover annual leave would also be considered advantageous.
The successful candidate will work closely within a small team.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee all movements of trucks/stock in and out of site, issue paperwork and record details.
- Monitor orders on daily Runsheet and ensure they are despatched.
- Create tax invoices for packed goods and other orders as required.
- Liaise with production staff, office staff, carriers, visitors and contractors.
- Arrange transport and prepare manifests/consignments for customer deliveries and stock transfers to other AGS sites.
- Perform inductions for drivers and contractors.
- Follow company procedures & policies.
- Strictly adheres to OHS requirements.
Other requirements
- Hours – Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 1.30pm with 30 minute unpaid meal break included.
- Will be subject to a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
- Have the right to work in Australia.
- Computer literate including MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience working in a Weighbridge Office advantageous.
- Previous experience using an ERP system.
- Understanding of logistics and manufacturing.
- On the job training will be provided to the right candidate.
