Qualifications & experience
- Degree in Food Science and Technology or a Diploma in Professional Bakery
- Minimum 5+ years in a similar role
- Knowledge of Food Safety Standards
Tasks & responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of new product development from conception to first product.
- Build positive relationships with all key stakeholders including customers and suppliers.
- Lead bench trials and recipe formulations as per the customer brief
- Maintain inventory of all raw materials , appropriately managing allergens and inventory shelf life
- Conduct root cause analysis on product related issues and provide the appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate and logical records of NPD and EDP products
