The Opportunity
You’ll ‘loaf’ being in this brand new ‘roll’ in which you can ‘bake’ a world of difference. Bakers Delight wants to appoint you, an experienced Learning and Organisational Development professional.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will help build the capability of our Support Office team, supporting a culture of feedback and learning. In addition, you will source, design, develop and implement and/or deliver high-quality programs to meet the strategic needs of the business.
Support and improve our performance review process to help our people go as far as they can. Identify current and future competency requirements and develop programs to address these needs. Work with managers to develop talent management plans for individuals and teams at our Support Office team.
It is essential that you can develop effective development pathways and competency maps and deliver them via the most appropriate method – virtually, face-to-face etc.
You will also work with the HR Team to develop material for our managers and the franchise network relating to compliance areas, such as safety, people management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion and more.

You will have proven experience in a similar role, including:
- A relevant degree qualification
- Experience with authoring tools & LMS
- Thrive working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build relationships and have tough conversations
- Love educating and developing others
- Experience in a retail environment preferred but not essential
