About The Role
Due to an internal promotion, we now have an opportunity for a Development Coordinator to join our team. Reporting into the Superintendent Development, our Development Coordinator supports our Narrabri Underground Coal Operations by ensuring the safe performance of underground activities whilst complying with, and enforcing, effective safety systems.
This role can be offered as Residential, DIDO or FIFO from Wollongong or Newcastle Airports with salary sacrificed camp accommodation will be offered to the successful candidate.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate production activities to achieve planned mining, including management of significant contractor activity.
- Providing active leadership to the development crews and identify areas for potential improvement to mining process
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental obligations pertaining to mining activities within the Development process.
- Providing leadership for Supervisors, technicians, consultants, contractors.
- Formulate daily, weekly and 13 weekly plans in accordance with the mine's schedule.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or related disciplines
- Deputy Certificate of Competence
- Extensive Development mining experience
- Supervisory experience at an underground coal mine
- Demonstrated commitment to, and successful achievement of business goals and outcomes.
