Please be aware that this is a contract role spanning 4.5 months, and it is also part-time, requiring commitment for 3 days a week.

About the role

Weare looking for a dynamic and skilled Development Kitchen tester to join ourteam. In this role, you will utilise your culinary expertise and independentjudgment to assess kitchen equipment, interpret performance data, formulateconclusions, and provide recommendations to the Development Kitchen Manager.You will execute comprehensive quality assurance testing on toasters, juicers,as well as support other appliance testing, showcasing meticulous attention todetail in ensuring the consistent excellence of our product line.

Keyresponsibilities include:

  • Execute productvalidation tests and analyse results.

  • Prepare detailedreports on test outcomes.

  • Conduct researchon products, food, and recipes.

  • Share culinaryknowledge with team members.

  • Maintain a cleanand organised work area.

We’re Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:

  • You must have an Australian Company Number (ACN) 

  • Accredited culinary or food science degree.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking or food media experience.

  • Experience in cooking for a diverse food audience.

  • Familiarity with electrical kitchen appliances.

  • Previous experience in recipe development and/or product testing.

  • Ability to meet physical requirements: standing up to 5 hours at a time and lifting up to 15 kilograms consistently.
