Could you be our next Development Manager?
About the role:
As a Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our expansion efforts, seeking out and acquiring prime properties to develop into new Hungry Jack’s restaurants in both NSW and the ACT. By joining our team, you will work with the Senior Development Manager, and you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where your skills and expertise will be valued and rewarded. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth strategy while working with a team of passionate professionals dedicated to the business.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
- Utilising your industry connections, expertise, and innovative approaches to identify potential sites
- Conducting comprehensive research and feasibility studies to assess each site's suitability
- Presenting detailed analyses and recommendations to leadership to guide decision-making
- Managing the end-to-end property acquisition process, from negotiation to trading of the store
- Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project success
- Providing valuable insights on market trends
Your key to success:
- A degree in Real Estate Development or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in QSR, retail development, or related field with a proven track record of managing multiple projects
- A strategic mindset with a proactive approach to seeking opportunities
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong negotiation skills
- Clear and concise communication skills to convey complex information effectively
- Expertise in feasibility studies, due diligence, and the development application process
- An understanding of environmental and workplace health and safety practices
- Applicants would need to be based in the Greater Sydney region, as the role would be based out of the Restaurant Support Centre based in Sydney (Woolloomooloo)
