About the Opportunity
This role is responsible for helping the Team to ensure the deliver of high quality infrastructure in accordance with Councils adopted manuals, standards and specifications. Through:
- Application of construction, drainage and road building experience,
- Site surveillance and reporting to the Team Leader Development Surveillance.
- Direct liaison and communication with relevant contractors and site superintendents
This role is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a Fortnightly RDO. Remuneration begins at $71.7K to $81.7K (Band 5) plus superannuation and commuter use vehicle.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a background and several years relevant experience in road and drainage construction. A demonstrated ability to read civil design plans and design specifications accurately. A sound knowledge of relevant manuals, standards and specifications. Demonstrated ability and experience to work effectively and constructively with a range of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to complete construction checklists and provide accurate, concise and articulate field reporting of construction activities. Sound understanding and familiarization with construction site safety and OH&S requirements.
