About the role
Moorabool Shire has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to supervise construction associated with land development and Capital Works to ensure works are constructed as intended and to appropriate standards.
This role is a site based role and will be responsible for community interaction within the day to day activities. This includes but not limited to traffic management review, environmental management review and construction supervision.

About you
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification or several years’ experience in road construction, drainage and concrete works. We are seeking someone who has demonstrated experience in the supervision, delivery and/or coordination of civil construction works within local government, or similar experience in the commercial or public sector.
The successful applicant will also have an understanding of road construction, road maintenance and land subdivision practices, along with an ability to negotiate and mediate with a range of stakeholders, and to prioritise work and comply with required deadlines.
