About the engagement:
Green Light Australia is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join one of our delivery partners in Canberra.
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development and testing, combined with hands-on experience in DevOps practices and cloud technologies, particularly with hyperscaler cloud providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, maintain, and optimise continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on hyperscaler platforms such as AWS or Azure
Automation: Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human error.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
Security: Embed security practices within the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring that applications and infrastructure are secure by design.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational procedures.
