As a DevOps Engineer within the team, you will contribute to developing and maintaining software solutions for the business customer portfolio. You will work with various technologies including Java, JavaScript, and REST/Web services, while embracing agile methodologies to drive efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and implement CI/CD principles, including Docker containerisation and using Jenkins.
- Implement DevSecOps tools and standards, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to optimise application development and deployment.
- Support continuous automation for seamless deployments and monitoring.
- Configure and maintain servers, databases, and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for system reliability and performance.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline and ability to identify and implement improvements.
- Strong desire to automate tasks and proven track record in developing automation scripts.
- Experience with Jenkins, Docker, AWS, and Git.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to devise effective solutions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Perl programming.
