Join one of Australia's largest banks and become a pivotal part of a cross-functional team. As a DevOps Engineer within the team, you will contribute to developing and maintaining software solutions for the business customer portfolio. You will work with various technologies including Java, JavaScript, and REST/Web services, while embracing agile methodologies to drive efficiency and innovation. Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and implement CI/CD principles, including Docker containerisation and using Jenkins.
• Implement DevSecOps tools and standards, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to optimise application development and deployment.
• Support continuous automation for seamless deployments and monitoring.
• Configure and maintain servers, databases, and networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for system reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline and ability to identify and implement improvements.
• Strong desire to automate tasks and proven track record in developing automation scripts.
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker, AWS, and Git.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to devise effective solutions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Perl programming. This role offers a hybrid setup with offices based in Sydney CBD or Gold Coast.  Only for candidates with full working rights in Australia.
