Join an innovative team during a period of growth within the tech industry. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to spearhead the companies projects and drive their team's growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of infrastructure as code, maintaining and managing pipelines efficiently.
- Utilise AWS skills to deploy infrastructure swiftly using CDK, with a strong understanding of AWS services.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure scalable workloads using Docker, ECR, EKS, and Aurora.
- Foster a strong security focus, implementing firewall technologies, managing certificates, and staying updated on CVEs.
- Drive toolchain optimization and network planning, contributing to comprehensive solutions for their projects.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in AWS services and the AWS Well Architected Framework.
- Proficiency in using git, git hooks, and code management systems like Bitbucket, GitLab, or Github.
- Multilingual with expertise in Python, Node.js, and proficiency in Bash scripting.
- Experience with containerized, scalable workloads using Docker, ECR, EKS, and Aurora.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline planning and development skills.
- Focus on security aspects including firewall tech, WAF, SSH, Cert Management, and CVEs.
- Experience in infrastructure as code using AWS Control Tower, AWS CDK, AWS CF, and/or Pulumi.
- Ability to optimize toolchains and design network architectures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a small to mid-size company.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Security License will need to be obtained once hired.
- Hybrid work environment with at least one day in the office, initially more in-office based on project needs.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $170,000 per annum, plus superannuation and bonus.
