This is an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join Orikan, a pioneering, technology focussed organisation, and make a true difference to the end user.
You will play a pivotal role in a large programme of work, and will be critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage DevOps processes to help optimize the build, test, and deployment processes for efficient software delivery.
- Utilize IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep) to automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Leverage configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppeteer, Chef).
- Handle backups, disaster recovery, and scaling for SQL Server VMs, Azure Managed SQL Instances, and Azure SQL databases.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or other IaC tools.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppeteer, Chef).
- Familiarity with Azure services and cloud architecture.
