You'll be overseeing integration with other data sources, data harvesting and profiling, documenting and maintaining technical data lineage to ensure data flows are well understood, data quality and metadata management, mentoring junior team members, building new development tools and infrastructure, looking for optimisation opportunities, and working with security teams and architecture to ensure appropriate encryption and access controls are maintained, managing platform content, integrity, and security, as well as continuous integration, development and operations.

What we look for in a successful candidate:

First and foremost, you will have practical experience with a variety of tools, including Collibra, Informatica, ETL, PL/SQL, Unix, Linux, SQL, SSIS, DataStage, GitHub, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Java, Docker, and similar technologies. Demonstrated proficiency in software engineering and leadership within engineering is essential, and experience in a DevOps environment is considered advantageous.

Furthermore, possession of current AWS and/or Google Cloud certifications, along with hands-on experience in configuration and deployment tools and infrastructure as code, is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills are a key component.

The ideal candidate should also demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to mentor, train, and identify opportunities for skill enhancement in others.
