The Role

This is your chance to step into a Financial Services industry – Specifically the Superannuation Domain which focuses on helping Australians securing their financial wellbeing by delivering business initiatives, developing & supporting our platforms to better serve our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and support in implementing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure a seamless and efficient software development lifecycle.
• Develop and execute a DevOps strategy that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
• Drive the implementation of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Ensure security, compliance, and performance standards are met across all infrastructure components.
• Identify areas for improvement in the software development and release processes and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive proven experience as a DevOps Engineer mainly AWS.
• Strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, and operations.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
