This role is a permanent role and will report to our Product Management Lead.
Role Summary:
As a Product Manager, you will lead the charge in delivering exceptional products that solve real user problems and drive business impact. Collaborating cross-functionally, this role involves defining product vision, prioritising features, and shaping user stories to align with business goals and user requirements. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute a product strategy that prioritizes customer needs, fosters innovation, and delivers meaningful outcomes.
The Product Manager will excel in communication, conflict resolution, coaching and adaptive strategy refinement based on customer and market insights.
As a valued member of the Eftsure team, your responsibilities will be to:
- Craft and communicate a compelling product vision, aligned with business objectives, to guide the development and evolution of products and features.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to create deep understanding of the users, ensuring that product enhancements are user-centred and intuitive.
- Use a data-driven approach to effectively prioritize business objectives, problems or opportunities and effective solutions based on business impact, effort, and strategic alignment.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops, brainstorming sessions, design sprints and tech spikes to foster creativity, innovation, and alignment across teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints, facilitating informed decision-making and trade-off discussions to optimize resource allocation and maximize value delivery.
- Focus on outcomes over outputs, setting clear objectives and key results (OKRs) that define success for each product initiative.
- Continuously measure and evaluate product performance against key metrics, iterating and adapting strategies based on data-driven insights and user feedback.
- Cultivate a culture of experimentation and learning, encouraging team members to test hypotheses, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly to drive product improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management, sharing insights and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, operations and other stakeholders to align priorities, streamline processes, and drive effective execution of product initiatives.
Requirements (skills and experience):
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product management role, with a successful track record.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-informed decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective information conveyance.
- Ability to gather and interpret data, user feedback and market insights to drive product decisions.
- Proficient in product discovery methodologies, prioritisation and planning.
- Adept at motivating teams, managing conflict and driving strategic product development.
- Strong business acumen and market awareness, aligning product strategies with business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Agile Product Owner are an advantage but not mandatory.
- Membership in product management or Agile-related associations, reflecting active community engagement are an advantage but not mandatory.
