Project Duration: 12 monthsDescription:We are seeking a skilled and qualified Diesel Fitter to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Tasmania.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant development, contributing to the maintenance and repair of onsite plant machinery, trucks and diesel engines.Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular maintenance, pre-start checks and repairs on heavy plant machinery and trucks
- Diagnosing faults and performing necessary repairs to ensure equipment runs smoothly
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently and safely
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.

- Qualifications: Must be a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter
- Experience: Proven experience in working with onsite heavy plant machinery, trucks and diesel engines
- Certification: Relevant trade certification, white card and heavy rigid licence are essential
- Availability: Must be available for the entire 12-month project duration, day and night shift
