About the Role:
Our valued client is a third-generation family-owned business with its head office in Hobart. They have operations in Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia & New South Wales. With operations in the maritime industrial sectors of oil and gas, Antarctic, and Southern Ocean research vessels and AAD infrastructure and Defence industry.
Keys to success:
The successful candidate must be a qualified experienced Diesel Fitter who is able to demonstrate a track record of workplace safety.
You will be a diligent individual with experience working on industrial sites who respond and work well in team environments and are able to provide thorough examples of this.
This role requires the candidate to be capable of interpreting and acting on high-level directions and the ability to self-motivate and work autonomously, demonstrating strong initiative and job-ownership.
Responsibilities include:

Skills & Requirements:
- Trade Certificate
- Experience in the maritime industry an advantage
- MISC Card an advantage
- Confined Space Entry an advantage
- Working at Heights an advantage
- First Aid an advantage
- Pass a Fit for Work Medical and urine-based D&A test
- Obtain Police Clearance
