About the role
As our next Ancillary Diesel Fitter reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
The Lake Vermont Coal Project is situated in Dysart, North Queensland.
- Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
- Be highly motivated and committed to deliver quality results.
- Perform routine scheduled servicing and repairs on sites pump and lighting plant fleet
- Working on Legra, Tru-flo and Sykes mine pumps, T-Man and Allight lighting plants and various Kubot mobile generators
- Follow work instructions and complete all paperwork to a high standard.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained ensuring a safe work environment.
- Have a good work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement, be able to work as an individual within the maintenance team.
- Commitment to Risk Management and Safe Work.
About you
- To be successful in this role you are required to have:
- Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or relevant equivalent
- Post-trade experience working in the Mining Industry with good knowledge of servicing and maintain mining pumps
- Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs of mining pumps, mobile lighting plants and ancillary equipment
