Northern Heavy Diesel has multiple roles for Heavy Diesel Fitters with long term work in the Northern Territory.

You will be responsible for the servicing, diagnostics, fault finding, repairs and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of a large variety of earthmoving equipment primarily being Caterpillar equipment. Role will require a mixture of field and workshop work out on a variety of customers sites mainly in remote sites around the NT and sometimes interstate.  We have both FIFO and Field service DIDO roles throughout the NT with the ability to change up sites and type of work. From mine sites, to civil sites and road crews, to cattle stations and everything in between. Paid travel time and work vehicle provided. Variety of rosters on offer  2/1,1/1,2/2, 3/1, or reach out and let us know what suits you.

• Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (essential) 
• Auto-electrical experience (highly regarded)
• A/C ticket (highly regarded)
• Current unrestricted driver’s license
• At least two years of relevant experience maintaining earth moving equipment
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all site requirements
• Dedication to learning, high quality work and achieving goals
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to work in a remote setting 
• Ability to work rosters (Roster is negotiable)

Pre-Employment:
