Your new company has over 2 decades of success as an outstanding business in the truck servicing and parts industry, with a strong pipeline of work and loyal customers they have a fantastic opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic to come onboard with the view to move into a branch manager role.
Role
In your role as the Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for both breakdown work as well as scheduled maintenance on both truck and truck bodies as well as small mobile plant equipment. This will be across diesel motors, hydraulics, and electrical systems, you will also be involved in any dismantling and mechanic upgrades when required.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualifications as a heavy Diesel Mechanic/heavy diesel fitter
- Previous experience with trucks and truck bodies
- Ideally experience leading or supervising staff members
- Whilst not essential exposure to mobile plant equipment will be highly desirable
