FIFO position based in Nhulunbuy, NT - Equal Time Roster 2 Weeks on, 2 Weeks off

Position Overview: 

As a Diesel Mechanic,  Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining CAT Mining machinery to ensure optimal functionality and performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on CAT Mining equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to determine effective repair solutions.
• Performing repairs and replacements of faulty parts following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, specifically working with CAT Mining equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in Diesel Mechanics or related fields.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices within a mining environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a FIFO setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
