THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle mechanics who will work as a part of our Repairs & Service Team who are responsible for maintenance, repairs and servicing of road transport equipment including pre-delivery and accessories fitment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and repair orders instructions, to meet specified quality, safety and general performance criteria.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform Pre-Delivery inspections and associated adjustments corresponding to manufacturers guidelines
• Perform accessory fitouts to meet the requirements of customers within allocated timeframes
• Execute general servicing, maintenance and repair of Kenworth & DAF trucks
• Use of diagnostic and analytical tools and software
• Repair and maintenance of American drive trains, Cummins and MX PACCAR/DAF engines
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
ABOUT YOU
• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a Certificate III in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology

• Keen to improve on knowledge and skills
• High attention to detail and quality of work
• A genuine interest in growing and building a career in the Automotive industry
• Good written and communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar role
