Our Journey
Nutrition and Dietetics are an integral part of a wider Allied Health and multidisciplinary team. We provide a comprehensive range of specialist acute and sub-acute services across all Monash Health sites. We collaboratively ensure the best outcome for patients in our care. We currently have two exciting, Fixed Term Opportunities for Grade 2 Dietitians to join us. One is part time (0.6EFT until 12 Dec 2024) and the other is full time (1.0 EFT until February 2025) these vacancies are covering both parental leave and secondment backfill.
The positions are part of the Dietetics Department that services Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Moorabbin Hospital, and Victorian Heart Hospital.
A Day in the Life:
We pride ourselves in the work that we do ensuring a cohesive team environment. The Dietitian will contribute to and drive excellence in quality nutrition and dietetic care to ensure the current and future needs of our patients and their families are met.
In these positions, you will:

• provide evidence-based, patient-centred care
• be exposed to and upskill in a range of clinical specialties
• provide clinical supervision and support to develop grade 1 Dietitians and students
• participate and contribute to Nutrition and Dietetic clinical streams, quality and research projects
• be part of a friendly, fun and supportive team

• well consolidated clinical skills and in-depth knowledge
• energy and enthusiasm to work across a range of clinical units
• flexibility to work collaboratively with your colleagues
• Ambition to grow your clinical skills and expand your knowledge and develop others

You must:

• be eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia;
• be eligible for registration as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD);
