Position SummaryCOMMUNITY HEALTH PAEDIATRIC DIETITIAN - Grade 3 Senior Clinician

We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.About the roleYou will provide specialist paediatric clinical dietetics services to paediatric clients and their families at Eastern Health Community Health , utilising both group and individual therapy models. You will work closely with other paediatric allied health professionals and allied health assistants to ensure effective training empowers parents/caregivers to become key partners in their child’s clinical intervention/therapy.As a Senior Clincian, you will work with the leadership team at Community health to inspire, influence and motivate staff and to contribute to a positive and compassionate organisational culture. You will identify and lead quality improvement projects as well as support grade 2/1 team members with clinical supervision.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:

• Minimum of seven years practical experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics.

Extensive clinical experience in managing complex paediatric and feeding clients * Eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia and the Accredited Practicing Dietitian Program.Participation in Accredited Practising Dietitian program of DA or ability to demonstrate that equivalence to APD requirements are maintained on an annual basis.Demonstrated ability to undertake professional supervision and promote professional competence of other dietetic staff * Demonstrated high level of analytical thinking and investigative skills involving research & quality activities, benchmarking and resource identification, including innovative, service delivery models

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passion in working with families from vulnerable backgrounds
