The Australian Hotels Association - WA (AHA) is seeking a Digital and Creative Executive to join our dynamic team in West Perth to imagine, create and innovate the associations media marketing materials and events productions.
Established in 1892, the AHA is the peak association for Western Australia’s hotel and hospitality industry, covering the spectrum of businesses providing accommodation, food, beverage, entertainment, tourism, meeting and convention facilities in WA. The AHA is a highly regarded employer and industry leader.
A key focus will be the production of media and marketing for our world class events, in particular audio visual and video materials for our Gala Balls, Awards Presentations, Conferences and annual Expo.
Our candidate should have a strong work ethic with the ability to work as part of a close and effective team.
About the role:
As the Digital and Creative Executive you will be responsible for:
- Creating visually impactful marketing materials, including Digital and print, newsletters, brochures, flyers and online communications.
- Ensuring design and brand consistency across all marketing channels.
- Maintaining and updating digital platforms including website content and implementing design changes for optimal user experience.
- Managing production and publication of internal and external communications including magazine design, promotional materials and online newsletters.
- Coordinating logistics and managing all event-related marketing materials, audio visual production and digital content.
- Managing contracts with service providers.
Key skills and qualities:
- Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite in particular After Effects and Premier Pro is highly desirable.
- Experience in graphic design and marketing communications.
- Ability to multitask, work independently and take direction.
- Effective communicator, able to display initiative and reliable.
- Maintain confidentiality with commercially sensitive information.
- Experience in creating visually appealing and user-friendly web pages in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Ability to understand and apply feedback from web analytic tools to the design of intuitive website layouts.
- Ability to work with web developers and basic understanding of SEO and web development languages such as HTML and CSS is desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines/timelines under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years’ graphic design and digital production.
- Qualifications in graphic design with experience in communications and marketing.
- Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
