YOUR DREAM OPPORTUNITY
As our passionate Digital Copywriter, on a Full-Time 6-month contract, you will support the online performance of the Forever New owned websites and affiliate sites.
Get excited to:
- Take the lead in writing apparel and accessory product descriptions for multiple markets including Forever New, Ever New, The Iconic, Myer, David Jones etc.
- Support the copywriting process for Social Media posts, eDMs, promotional campaigns, web pages, category pages, product packaging and in-store signage on an ad hoc basis when needed
- Support the copywriting process from concept to delivery across digital and non-digital touch points, creating engaging content in line with Forever New’s brand guidelines and tone of voice
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU OFFER US
- Tertiary qualification in Writing, Journalism, Communications or acceptable equivalent experience
- Strong and engaging copywriting, great verbal communication skills, and impeccable spelling and grammar
- Knowledge of fabrications and silhouettes to communicate fit, hand feel and end use to the customer
- Dynamic lateral thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- The desire and determination to develop and increase skills set and knowledge
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills including the ability to operate effectively and collaboratively in both a group situation and autonomously
- Demonstrated experience in fashion, brand or product-based role
- Understanding of digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, email and social media
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Razor sharp editing skills, high level of accuracy, attention to detail and creative flair
- Knowledge of fashion trends, fabrications and silhouettes preferable
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in Microsoft Excel – basic level of competency
- Understands the customer and importance of language to help sell products and information online
- Confidence in working with the wider Digital & Marketing team, buyers and other related departments
