Digital Designer

We are currently looking for an experienced designer to join our team. Working within a fun and dynamic team, we want designers who are passionate about the projects they work on and work hard to give clients real world solutions to their business problems, not just graphics that look interesting or shiny shop fronts.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience with and loves working with clients and being involved in both the sales and delivery processes of a project
• Can produce great designs in-line with our brand style and persona
• Has a high (almost pathological) level of attention to detail
• Is highly motivated and will come to work every day wanting to get the best possible outcome for their assigned clients
• Has an energetic personality - engaging, enthusiastic and outgoing
• Great time management skills - who understands what a project budget is and can multitask across multiple projects in a given day
• Is comfortable discussing budgets and project timelines with clients
• A high degree of experience and competence with the Adobe Suite (particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
• WordPress experience a plus, otherwise on-the-job training will be provided
• Digital and social media marketing experience would be well regarded

We don't like to handhold our staff. The nature of this position will be one where you are able to really flex your muscles and control and manage your own projects, workflow and clients. The responsibilities of your role will include:

• End to end project management including participation in the sales and quoting process
• Ongoing client relationship management
• Quality control of your work
• Managing junior staff where necessary
• Provide thought-leadership on web and graphic design best practices and next-generation design & digital trends
