About the role:
This is a 6 month Maternity Leave Cover contract.
Timing: Beginning of June - end of November 2024, possibility to push into December.
Designing the interface, navigation and aesthetic of websites for businesses and clients. Assist with the creation of social media advertising assets, and any other design needs that our clients have.
Collaborate with Creative Director, Account Managers and Development department to design and help coordinate assets for implementation and development.
- Designing engaging and responsive web pages within budget/time allocations
- Creating exciting user experiences
- Investigating social media advertising trends to inform ad creation
- Understanding the logistics of design from a UX perspective and understand the placement of elements to help create a proper digital user journey.
- Understanding the audience and target demographic that the project is related to.
- Creating design solutions that not only match brand specifications, but brand vibe as users will need to connect to the product or service in a dynamic way.
- A strong understanding of design trends in this market and other markets adjacent to the industry.
- Organisation is key, and the ability to work quickly and autonomously at times, while still producing quality work
- Implementing creative project briefs as needed
- Bringing new, fresh ideas to the company. There are no bad ideas here!
- Employing industry and design best practice through the website design process
- Ensuring the website has good functionality
- Working with Account Managers to incorporate client brand elements into the website
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Figma, as well as Adobe Creative Suite applications
- The ability to understand, manage and prioritise multiple projects
- Qualifications or experience in Graphic Design
