To support WPB strategies of end-to-end digitalization, the Digital Product Manager role is to support in developing an overall digital product and platform strategy and developing digital product features under different Value Streams.  You will be a key member of Digital Product team and reporting to the Digital Portfolio Lead.   

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the Digital Portfolio features for end-to-end delivery of the Digital Portfolio, proactively balancing scope, budget, risks, outcomes and benefits.
  • Tracking statuses of project deliverables and milestones, ensuring delivery risk and issue are monitored with regular co-ordination of governance and regular portfolio level reporting.
  • Facilitate, coordinate and help plan for PI (Programme increment) sessions to ensure features are ready to be picked up and planned in-line with key prioritisation outcomes from QBR/Big room planning.
  • Track key features and functions and ensure proper engagements are in place in-line with global and local priorities which feeds into Digital PI and Delivery, while ensuring budget and funding for engagements are in place and tracked.
  • Embed Agile approach and artefacts, helping drive cohesion across Channels, Digital, Transformation and DBS (Digital Banking Services) IT for backlog and road-maps for better transparency and ownership.
  • Help drive the overall performance and velocity of Digital deliveries, working closely across Channels, Product, Commercialisation, IT etc.
  • Ensure proper governance and hygiene of features are being followed across digital Mobile and Platform deliveries end-to-end.
  • Support Implementation and operationalization of Digital features and functions in the market with close collaboration with local, regional, and global teams.
  • Deliver multiple projects in collaboration with multiple technical and business teams to ensure success of the Digital roadmap and strategy.
  • Build strong relationships, adopting a joined-up approach and ensure regular and positive engagement with key support functions such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc. in driving Digital changes.  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related and/or technology-related field with relevant experience working as a Portfolio Manager or within the Delivery management function.
  • Experience of working in a banking environment within large, complex change projects, PI Planning and coordination, with proven outcomes and working with cross-functional teams both locally and globally.
  • Collaborate with scale Agile teams and IT partners to refine and prioritize product delivery.
  • Experience in working with diverse teams across different work streams.
  • Strong Stakeholder management and successfully demonstrate the ability to conduct impactful communication, influencing, running portfolio governance, implementation, change management and benefits realization.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate across all level and to think laterally and innovatively to find creative solutions, with a proactive approach to problem solving, 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal along with working experience in Confluence and JIRA management.
  • Attention to detail, able to work independently as well as part of a team with strong commitment to working and thinking collaboratively.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
