Digital Power Platform Senior Developer

  • Role type: Ongoing/Permanent, full-time opportunity
  • Salary: DCS Clerk Grade 9/10 - base salary starting at $120,859
  • Location: Remote, anywhere in NSW, flexible working arrangements available.

As a Senior Developer in our growing GTP Power Platform team at Digital NSW, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and scaling solutions that impact not only our business area but also other government agencies and departments. Additionally, you'll have the chance to mentor and lead other team members, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their capabilities. About the role:

  • Lead the development and support of existing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools using Agile practices.
  • Identify and implement best practices and processes for system / solution architecture and documentation.
  • Create thorough and accurate documentation of processes to ensure transparency, continuity, and efficiency.
  • Lead, coach and mentor other Power Platform makers within the team.
  • Work closely with the business to analyse business requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Co-ordinate backlog of product enhancements with our Microsoft Partner, attending monthly strategy meetings.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • 4+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools, especially:
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement sophisticated solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform product suite
  • Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps is essential, Confluence desirable
  • Experience with advanced Power Platform developer features such as PCFs, Custom Connectors, and javascript for MDA customisation, OR capability and interest to extend skills to fill any gaps needed to comprehensively support our Power Platform solutions.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Power Platform best practices, solution architecture principles, security, and data management.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor others within the team.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Certifications of either Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200) or Developer Associate (PL-600) strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Salary DCS Grade 09/10, with the base salary for this role starting at 120,859 base plus superannuation
