We have an exciting opportunity in the Corporate Applications team for a Senior Dynamics and Power Platform Developer.
Reporting to Teena Thareja, the Solutions Delivery Lead within our Corporate Applications team, this position involves in the development, planning, and delivery of systems architecture. It also entails ensuring the successful build, operation, and functioning of products or platforms in accordance with relevant roadmaps.
We are highly collaborative in our approach and work within an Agile framework. Our team has become a centre of excellence for NSW Health in the delivery of Power Platform solutions, providing an excellent opportunity for you to utilise and develop your skills.
What you will do
As an integral member of the Corporate Applications team, you will:
Collaborate with Principal Engineers and Product Owners to oversee the execution of the roadmap. Prioritizes design trade-offs and evaluates risks to ensure delivery aligns with the architecture roadmaps, customer requirements, and organizational strategies.
Facilitate discussions during development ceremonies, guiding the refinement, breakdown, sizing, documentation, and implementation of user stories or tasks using suitable methodologies, guiding principles, and tools. Ensures clarity and transparency in all deliverables, including overseeing the development of both technical and non-technical documentation.
Oversee and carry out tasks associated with the delivery of migration, extension, implementation, and transformation activities. Ensures alignment with technology solutions, services, and components roadmaps.
Manage investigations of designs that enable the roadmap vision and deliver desired qualities while identifying and developing recommendations that mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact the interoperability across systems.
Coordinate investigations into designs that facilitate the realization of the roadmap vision and achieve desired qualities. Identifies and formulates recommendations to mitigate risks and dependencies that could affect interoperability across systems.
Manage operational and improvement activities to provide assurance surrounding system security, resiliency, stability and availability through reporting and automation, escalating risks and mitigation strategies where necessary to support decision-making.
Advocate for and actively participate in advancing the development of the relevant Capability Area Group (CAG) to uphold expertise in emerging trends and technologies. Collaborate with training leads to design and create educational materials and additional resources.

About you
The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
Extensive experience in working with Dynamics Customer Service, Field Service and Marketing module developing and enhancing enterprise applications.
Extensive experience in implementing solutions using Power Platform architecture including Model Driven apps, Power Pages, Power BI and Power Automate.
Extensive experience in developing in .Net Plugins, API integrations, use of Liquid and JavaScript to deliver customisations in applications.
Experience in delivering in Dev-Ops environment.
Experience working in agile framework.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form-IM011 form). Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
To be eligible for this role, you must have current Australian work rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen with a current passport, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia).
