Digital Printing Production & Pre-Press – Multiple Opportunities!

Academy School Photography & Production has been a leader in the School Photography and Printing industries for 40+ years, providing a broad range of services to school customers across the country. We are a national company with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Customer Service / Production Headquarters in Adelaide

Due to exciting innovations and continuous growth, we have multiple positions available for individuals wanting to join our unique team of dedicated people on a full time or part time basis at our national headquarters in Torrensville

What we're looking for:

We are looking for people who have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Pre-Press, Printing and Post Printing, including but not exclusive to;
  • Digital Printing & Print Finishing 
  • General Printing Production & Finishing – training in digital print possible for suitable candidate.
  • Graphic Pre-Press including PDF workflows, Pre-Flighting, artwork creation and design using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Quoting, Planning, Scheduling, Invoicing and customer liaising. 

You don’t need to have experience in all of these areas, but a willingness to learn will set you up for success. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are wanting to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilise and build upon your existing skillset

Some of the qualities we look for include:

• Great organisational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to multitask, working as part of a team, as well as individually
• Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, Digital Print RIPs and workflows

Bonus Points if, in addition to any of the above, you have:

• Worked with Konica or FUJI digital presses
• Used Monday.com, Timestone or Maximizer
• Basic knowledge of Photography and photo editing
• Worked in the School Photography industry or a printing / production environments
