We’re Inklab, an independent Canberra-based agency bringing brands and people together. Specialising in brand strategy and design, our team is on the hunt for a skilled and experienced Digital/Technical Producer with a blend of creative and technical expertise. This pivotal role is responsible for the day-to-day running and technical management of client projects, guiding design and development to produce immersive solutions. 

About the role

As a key member of our team, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, project managers, designers and developers to ensure the successful execution and delivery of technically robust websites, apps, and interactive experiences.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Leading projects from briefing through to delivery
• Acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to oversee technical aspects of website projects
• Leading technical scoping, outlining project requirements and identifying potential risks or challenges
• Translating client requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks for development teams
• Providing expertise in web development technologies, frameworks and tools to guide project decisions
• Ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards and optimisation techniques for website performance and responsiveness
• Managing budgets, workflows, resources and timings to ensure the highest quality work and agency output
• Identifying and implementing ways to improve productivity and processes
• Working collaboratively with the design and development teams to deliver highly effective and innovative digital projects

What we need from you

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a digital agency or similar digital environment
• Strong experience with project management systems and tools
• Experience managing agency workflow and resourcing
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of digital project management and web technologies
• eCommerce experience and an understanding of the end-to-end process for payment gateways and e-commerce integrations
• Experience delivering small and large-scale websites, digital campaigns, interactive projects or immersive experiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present an approach or concept
• Highly effective at managing time across projects and deadlines
• An energetic, positive and confident personality to motivate the delivery team
• A desire to work collaboratively across multiple clients, projects, platforms, and products
• A keen interest in solving client problems and technical challenges
• A passion for innovation and great UX and CX
• Ability to collaborate and deliver on a shared vision
• Exceptional attention to detail and desire to deliver the highest quality work
