About the role
The Digitisation Coordinator will coordinate the GMCT Digitisation Program of work and other projects and activities relating to the capture and retrieval of records of relevance to GMCT and its cemeteries. The role will engage in consultation with business stakeholders to attribute priority and value to the remaining physical record groups.
The role will also facilitate procurement of a suitable digitisation service provider(s) and establish relationships with those digitisation partners. The role will also commence and drive ongoing digitisation activities for the duration of the project.

Qualifications and experience
- Formal records and information management qualifications and or hands on experience in digitising, converting, scoping records..
Skills / abilities
- Relevant practical experience with implementation and day-to day support of large-scale digitisation program.
- Relevant practical experience in the use of functionally-based Business Classification Schema (BCS) and Records Disposal Authorities (RDAs).
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high quality services relating to records disposal
- .Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to apply these with internal and external stakeholders to provide effective customer service.
