About the Centre/Service East Beaumaris Kindergarten is a vibrant, inclusive community kindergarten providing quality 3 and 4 year old kindergarten programs, set in natural surroundings next to Illaroo Reserve in Beaumaris. East Beaumaris Kindergarten is a not-for-profit sessional kinder run by a Committee of Management made up of parent volunteers. Our curriculum is play based and our focus is on supporting and extending the children’s interests and strengths to develop confidence, curiosity and an enthusiasm for learning. As a kindergarten we are committed to providing a child safe environment and all staff must demonstrate their ongoing responsibility to ensuring child safety. In 2024 East Beaumaris Kindergarten is offering one 3 year old program (15 hours per week), one 4 year old program (15 hours per week) and an optional mixed age Extended Care program (7.5 hours per week). Description Fixed Term - 8 weeks (6 May - 25 June, 2024) Mondays and Tuesdays 3YO group, 22 children, 45 min paid lunch, causal rate. We are looking for a warm, passionate and motivated Diploma Educator for our 3 year old group while one of our Educators is on placement. The successful candidate must work well with a team, build positive relationships with the children and their families, report to the Educational Leader and Committee of Management. You must have a sound knowledge of the EYLF and the NQF, Educational and Care Services Laws and Regulations.  You will be working collaboratively with Educators, children and families to deliver a safe and engaging program.  Interested applicants please send cover letter and resume to Anna O'Boyle Kelly at *************@gmail.com

Qualifications Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA recognised equivalent) Working with Children Check (Employee) Current first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management training Current Mandatory Reporting Certificate Sound working knowledge Early Years Framework, Reportable Conduct Scheme, Child Safety Standards and Child Information Sharing Scheme Current National Police Check
