About the Centre/Service Our supportive kindergarten is eager to welcome a new member to our family and encourage those who share our passion for early childhood education to apply. We celebrate our place as a community, parent-run sessional kindergarten and promote an open and welcoming environment for our families. Our double unit kindergarten with 2 x 4yo and 2 x 3yo groups ensures that our teaching team is able to collaborate with each other as we share rooms and playground and work closely together providing the best environment possible for our children. We are committed to maintaining a child safe environment and value inclusivity. Please note: In 2024 Boorondara Council is renovating & rebuilding part of our kindergarten. This exciting project has required us to relocate to Balwyn Leisure Centre at 230 Balwyn Road Balwyn until the work is complete & we can move back to Kew. JJ McMahon Kindergarten acknowledges the traditional custodians of our land, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation and pay respect to elders past, present and emerging.

- ACECQA approved Diploma qualification in early childhood or Cert III working towards Diploma
- Current Working with Children
- First aid, anaphylaxis & asthma training
- Mandatory reporting certificate (or willingness to complete prior to start)
