Diploma Educator

POSITION VACANT 

6 MONTH LEAVE CONTRACT – 1 ST APRIL – 31ST OCTOBER 2024 

WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION 

Expression of interest in either Lead Educator (Diploma as a minimum) or Educator undertaking Curriculum (Diploma or Working towards Diploma) 

As part of the educator team you will play an integral role in helping make our Centre the one of choice for the local community. 

You will be well supported by the Centre Director and Educational Leader along with wonderful educators across the Centre. 

QUALIFICATION- not negotiable for Lead Educator 

You must have at a minimum completed your Diploma in ECEC to be considered for the role of Lead Educator. 

Ideally you will have: 

• experience in a room leaders position if applying for Lead Educator 

• Experience in programming and planning in our service style of curriculum 

• a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the EYLF 

• excellent interpersonal skills 

• ability to guide and direct your co workers to deliver outstanding care and standards at all times 

• The successful applicant will be a friendly, outgoing and approachable individual who work well in a team but also work well autonomously. 

• Outstanding communication skills are essential as is a professional level of presentation.

This will be a permanent part time position 64 hours, with 8 hour shifts over 4 days per week with option for 72 hours, with 8 hour shifts over 9 day fortnight .
