Craigburn OSHC & Vacation Care is a 90-place service providing care for primary school-aged children before school, after school, on pupil-free days, and during vacation periods.
We are open Monday to Friday from
BSC 6:30am-9:00am
ASC 3:10pm-6:15pm
Pupil free days & Vacation Care days 6:30am-6:15pm
The Role
We are looking for warm, friendly, and motivated people to support our service in the provision of high quality care to meet the needs of our families.
As a qualified OSHC Educator, you will be dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for school age children.
- Effective Communicator
- Provide quality care, learning and play experiences for children
- Ensure the highest level of customer service for families
- Assist in delivering challenging and engaging programs and activities for children aged 4-12 years
- Actively supervise children in various environments (indoor & outdoor spaces, playgrounds, excursion sites) to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the service.
- Comply with service policies and regulations
- Be available between 6:15am and 6:15pm for a minimum shift of 2hrs, maximum shift 8hrs and split shifts
Skills & Experience
Qualified Educators will need:
- Cert III in Education, Care or disability as per ACECQA Approved Qualifications
- Diploma in School Age Education and Care or equivalent qualficiation as per ACECQA Approved Qualifications https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
- HLTAID009 Provide CPR
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate
- WWCC
- Succesful candidates must be able to meet Department of Education pre-employment requirments relating to working on a school site.
