Position Overview:
We are seeking Diploma Qualified Educators for both part time and full time opportunities in Mount Barker!
The ideal candidates will have 2+ years experience working in a long daycare environment with minimum 3 days per week availability and full working rights in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and individual children’s interests.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and document children’s progress and development.
- Promote health and wellbeing practices, including hygiene, nutrition, and safety.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar role within a long daycare setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
