As a Diploma qualified educator, you are expected to be an active leader of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
This includes:
- Developing strong relationships with children at the service;
- Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families;
- Implementing and always uphold the policies and associated procedures and practices of the organisation; and
- Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations and service.
Successful candidates will hold a recognised Early Childhood qualification, such as a Diploma in Children’s Services (or be near completion).
In addition, applicants must have:
- Enthusiasm for working with young children under 15 months to 6 years
- Experience in working with children of different ages
- A current Blue Card
- A First Aid/ Anaphylaxis/ Asthma certificate
- Child Protection Certification
- An understanding of the NQF and EYLF
- Montessori experience is highly valued but not required.
We are also seeking casual Assistant Educator to support all rooms.

Little Apple Tree is a family-owned Child Care Centre situated amongst nature on the Gold Coast. We are a small community focussed Centre and work with our families to create the best outcomes for all the children at the Centre.
It is our goal that when children and families look back on their time at Little Apple Tree it will be filled with lots of warm memories of learning, friendship, special celebrations and creative play.
