We are a privately owned service, licensed for 75 children aged between 6 weeks to 12 years and is opened from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm. Our service has 5 rooms and provides before/ after school care and vacation care programs for the Eight Mile Plains and Warrigal Road Primary Schools. We believe that all children are curious learners, and it is important to embrace their sense of wonder through engaging play-based programs. We endeavour to provide our children with learning skills that will assist them in becoming independent learners and encourage a holistic approach towards education. About the role
One lead educator role in our Toddler age group and two relief educator positions.
We seek experienced Diploma Qualified educators who are reliable, fun loving and dedicated in fostering the development of young children, candidates must include....
· Developing strong relationships with children, families, other educators, and the community.
· Provide support and assistance with other educators in the services operations.
· Working in a team environment in developing continuous improvement in all areas of the service.
· Working in accordance with the services policies and procedures and the NQF.
Availability and Hours
- Available to work Monday to Friday
- Maximum of 37.5 hrs per week for lead educator
- Maximum of 30 hrs per week for Relief Educators
- Must be available for a rotational roster.
Start Dates
- Lead educator position: Mid June 2024
- Relief position: 27th May 2024
Skills and experience
· Diploma of Early Childhood and Education and Care.
· Experience within the industry.
· Current Blue Card.
· Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
· Current Child Protection training.
· Food handling training or willing to obtain.
· Sound knowledge in NQF, EYLF.
· Excellent verbal and written communication.
· Sound knowledge in technology.
· Experience in using Storypark software but not essential.
